Privacy Policy

Nerva, operator of withnerva.com and the Nerva application.

Waitlist (/join): name, email, WhatsApp number, business type, country, city/area, Instagram handle, optional Snapchat/TikTok/website.

App: account/business details and the operational data you enter (bookings, clients, staff, payments, inventory); your business controls its own clients’ data, Nerva processes it for you.

Automatic: basic device/usage data and error diagnostics via Vercel Analytics and Sentry. We do not sell personal data.

To contact you about the founding cohort and onboarding; to provide, secure and improve the service; to answer enquiries; to meet legal obligations.

Bases: consent (waitlist contact), contract (the app), legitimate interests (security, improvement).

If you give a WhatsApp number you consent to us contacting you there about Nerva; opt out anytime by replying STOP or emailing us.

Only with processors that run the service, each bound to use data only on our instructions: Supabase (database and file storage, hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt), Vercel (application hosting in the European Union, in Frankfurt, and content delivery), Sentry (error monitoring), Anthropic (the AI features: text sent to an AI feature is processed to produce its answer), Resend (email delivery), Meta (WhatsApp messages), MyFatoorah (subscription payments to Nerva) and Cloudflare (protection against automated abuse on public forms, where enabled). Inside the app, the payment and messaging providers a business enables process what those payments and messages need. We disclose data where the law requires it.

Only essential cookies and similar browser storage: to keep you signed in and to remember your language. Our analytics (Vercel) are privacy-respecting and use no cookies, and error monitoring (Sentry) records no screen sessions. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is nothing to accept in a cookie banner.

Waitlist data kept until you ask us to delete it or it is no longer needed; app data for the life of your account plus a reasonable period, then deleted or anonymised.

Encrypted in transit and at rest, role-restricted, tenant-isolated, monitored. No system is perfectly secure but we work hard to protect your data.

Access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, and withdrawal of consent; email founders@withnerva.com; we respond within the time the law requires.

Your data is stored in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), and our application servers run there too. Some of the processors listed above may process data in other regions (for example the United States) under appropriate safeguards.

Nerva is for businesses and is not directed at under-18s.

We may update this policy; we post the new date and notify you of material changes.
