Who we are
Nerva, operator of withnerva.com and the Nerva application.
Data we collect
Waitlist (/join): name, email, WhatsApp number, business type, country, city/area, Instagram handle, optional Snapchat/TikTok/website.
App: account/business details and the operational data you enter (bookings, clients, staff, payments, inventory); your business controls its own clients’ data, Nerva processes it for you.
Automatic: basic device/usage data and error diagnostics via Vercel Analytics and Sentry. We do not sell personal data.
How we use it
To contact you about the founding cohort and onboarding; to provide, secure and improve the service; to answer enquiries; to meet legal obligations.
Bases: consent (waitlist contact), contract (the app), legitimate interests (security, improvement).
WhatsApp & messaging
If you give a WhatsApp number you consent to us contacting you there about Nerva; opt out anytime by replying STOP or emailing us.
Sharing
Only with processors that run the service: Supabase (hosting/database), Vercel (hosting/CDN/analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), and in-app the payment/messaging providers you enable. Each is bound to use data only on our instructions. We disclose where legally required.
Cookies & analytics
Essential cookies + privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel) and error monitoring (Sentry); control non-essential cookies via the banner/settings.
Retention
Waitlist data kept until you ask us to delete it or it is no longer needed; app data for the life of your account plus a reasonable period, then deleted or anonymised.
Security
Encrypted in transit and at rest, role-restricted, tenant-isolated, monitored. No system is perfectly secure but we work hard to protect your data.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, and withdrawal of consent; email founders@withnerva.com; we respond within the time the law requires.
International
We operate from the GCC and may process data via processors in other regions with appropriate safeguards.
Children
Nerva is for businesses and is not directed at under-18s.
Changes
We may update this policy; we post the new date and notify you of material changes.
